I need instructions on how to set up an operational scan folder on a Mac, so I can scan to it from my Kyocera KM255 MFP. I have customers PC's set up, but can't get the Mac going. What is the procedure for getting a folder set up for the Mac?

Thanks for this info... When you input the host info into the Kyocera, do you use the same format info as you would for a PC?

SMB, FTP, a utility?
What version of Mac?
Open "Finder"
Go to "Home Folder"  usually has a house next to name
Click "new Folder"
Name the folder
Open System Preferences
Choose Sharing
Enable File Sharing
In advanced settings turn choose "Windows File sharing or SMB sharing which ever is listed
Set the account to use this folder
For the most part that should take care of it.
There is a write up on this on the Apple website under support.
Going to the source, go figure.
